Delhi HC bar body seeks exemption for lawyers, judges from vehicle ban

The Delhi High Court Bar Association has written to acting Chief Justice Nitin Sambre and Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu seeking exemption for advocates, judges and court staff from new vehicle curbs under the revised GRAP, effective November 1. President N Hariharan said many commute daily from Noida, Gurugram and Ghaziabad because Delhi housing is unaffordable, and called their work an essential service.
