Rivian's R2 becomes its best-selling EV as Q3 revenue jumps 38%

Rivian's mass-market R2 has become its top-selling vehicle for the first time. The EV maker reported third-quarter revenue of $2.155 billion, up 38% from $1.558 billion a year earlier, with automotive revenue of $1.55 billion, up 36%. Software and services brought in $605 million, up 45%, and the company posted a gross profit of $176 million.
