Why Tukaram Mundhe never celebrates his birthday

Maharashtra FDA Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe says he doesn't celebrate his birthday because he doesn't know it. His parents were farmers and the family is first-generation educated; he was enrolled in school at about six in June. His records say June 3, but his mother says he was born between Dussehra and Diwali.
