Mid-SUV sales jump 52% in H1 FY27; Creta stays on top

Sales of SUVs in the 4.2-4.5 metre segment grew 52.2% to 4,71,951 units in April-September 2026. Hyundai Creta remained the bestseller with 89,727 units despite a 9.68% dip. Maruti Victoris came second with 72,012 units, followed closely by Kia Seltos at 67,667. The top three accounted for 48.61% of segment sales.
