SC allows green crackers in Delhi-NCR on Nov 7-8, full ban from Nov 9

The Supreme Court has allowed sale and bursting of certified green firecrackers in Delhi-NCR from 6-7am and 8-10pm on November 7 and 8, ahead of Diwali. A complete ban returns on November 9. The bench said the earlier blanket ban had not significantly improved air quality or stopped illegal sale of conventional crackers.
