Hundreds of GP practices lose online booking after tech firm collapses

Around 500 GP practices in England, just under 10% of the total, have lost websites, online booking and consultations after tech firm Silicon Practice went into administration. Services in Wales are also affected. GP leaders warned of huge disruption, as over 40% of appointments are now booked online. Patients are advised to call their surgery; the NHS app is still working.
