CBSE drops AI and computational thinking modules from Class 9 this year

CBSE has removed three planned components from the Class 9 curriculum, the latest of several changes to its scheme of studies since the session began on April 1. A circular dated October 29 said Individuals in Society and the computational thinking and AI modules won't apply in 2026-27, while Environmental Education will be excluded when this batch reaches Class 10.
