Indian trial finds olanzapine matches steroid for chemo nausea

An Indian multicentre phase III trial found that an olanzapine-based, non-steroidal regimen was not inferior to standard dexamethasone prophylaxis for controlling vomiting during chemotherapy. Researchers said the steroid-free option performed comparably in the study, though more research is still needed before wider clinical use.
