Rivian R2 outsells R1S and R1T combined in third quarter

Rivian's new R2 midsize crossover outsold its larger R1S SUV and R1T pickup combined in the third quarter, becoming the brand's top seller in the US and Canada, the company said on its October 29 earnings call. Currently sold only as the $59,485 R2 Performance Launch edition, it will later get Premium and base versions, the latter priced at $46,485.
