IIMs, ISB and IISER Pune rethink AI rules for students

Indian institutions are moving from blanket bans on artificial intelligence towards controlled classroom use. IISER Pune, ISB, IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore are reworking teaching and assessments so students use AI critically without losing independent thinking. At IISER Pune, AI use is now allowed by default unless a teacher or PhD supervisor prohibits it in writing.
