Maharashtra pharmacy colleges fill 31,521 seats; 15,671 lie vacant
Maharashtra has recorded 31,521 admissions to B.Pharmacy and Pharm.D. programmes for 2026-27 across 530 colleges, according to the state CET Cell. Against 47,192 available seats, 15,671 remain unfilled. That means roughly one in every three pharmacy seats in the state is lying empty this academic year, raising questions about demand for the courses.
