Bengaluru-Mumbai Vande Bharat Sleeper approved, launch on November 1

The Railway Board has approved a Vande Bharat Sleeper train between SMVT Bengaluru and CSMT Mumbai, the second such approval in a week after the Varanasi-New Delhi route. A senior railway official said it will launch on November 1, with South Western Railway operating it. The orange-and-grey train was built by BEML using Integral Coach Factory technology.
