Saudi-led coalition says it downed Houthi drone aimed at Mecca region

The Saudi-led coalition in Yemen says it intercepted and destroyed a drone launched by the Houthis towards Saudi Arabia's Mecca region on Friday morning, according to coalition spokesman Turki al-Malki. The Houthis denied targeting the area around the Muslim holy city, as hostilities between the two sides continue to escalate.
