Rupee edges up 3 paise to 95.12 against dollar

The rupee closed 3 paise higher at a provisional 95.12 against the US dollar on Tuesday, helped by likely Reserve Bank intervention, though elevated crude prices, a firm dollar and foreign fund outflows capped gains. It opened at 95.17 and moved between 95.09 and 95.24 during the session. The currency had lost 77 paise over the previous three sessions.
