Sensex rebounds 400 points despite oil price surge
Indian benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty opened higher on Friday, with the Sensex gaining more than 400 points after three straight sessions of losses. Analysts expected the gains to be short-lived, as Brent crude futures surged to $113.5 a barrel amid rising Middle East tensions. Both indices had fallen about two per cent this week.
