Sensex, Nifty climb in early trade on Reliance buying, foreign inflows

The Sensex rose 245.43 points to 73,491.46 and the Nifty gained 62.55 points to 22,761.40 in early trade on Thursday, helped by buying in Reliance Industries and foreign inflows. Adani Ports led gains, up 3% after an 18% jump in quarterly profit to Rs 3,682.44 crore. Trent, Maruti Suzuki and Asian Paints were among the laggards.
