Maruti takes over half of India's car exports in H1 FY27

India's car exports rose 1.25% to 4,51,479 units in April–September 2026. Maruti Suzuki shipped 2,30,576 units, up 12%, lifting its export share to 51.07%. Hyundai was second with 92,008 units, down 7.6%, followed by Nissan, Volkswagen and Toyota, all lower. The Fronx was the most exported car with 46,147 units, with the Jimny close behind.
