Great Indian Bustard releases to continue despite loss of one bird
Officials running Project Great Indian Bustard say releases of captive-bred birds into Rajasthan's Desert National Park will continue as planned, after one of four recently released birds was found dead near a desert fox den on October 17. They said predation is part of rewilding and rejected reports that fox dens would be destroyed, calling that out of the question.
