Praful Patel visited Sharad Pawar in hospital and dismissed speculation that the meeting involved political discussions. The 85-year-old NCP (SP) chief was admitted to a south Mumbai hospital on Wednesday after being discharged from Pune's Ruby Hall Clinic, where he had been undergoing treatment since Monday.
