Strong US jobs report lifts odds of December Fed rate hike

US employers added about 165,000 jobs in October, well above the 65,000 estimate, while unemployment fell to 4.1 percent. Markets lifted the probability of a December quarter-point Federal Reserve rate hike to around 85 percent after the stronger payrolls data.
