Tesla expands Houston Robotaxi zone with rocket-shaped geofence

Tesla has expanded its Robotaxi service area in Houston, drawing the new geofence in the shape of a rocket and announcing it on X with "Houston, we have liftoff". The service, launched in April across about 25 square miles in northwest Harris County, now stretches southeast to downtown and Bellaire. Robotaxi Tracker counts only 34 driverless Model Ys serving it.
