Mumbai Police detain 25 at vigil for IIT Bombay student who died by suicide

Mumbai Police detained around 25 people, including stand-up comedian Masoom Rajwani, at Chaityabhoomi in Dadar on Sunday during a candlelight vigil for an IIT Bombay student who died by suicide last month. Police said the gathering lacked permission. Separately, about 120 people were detained at Shivaji Park during an unauthorised 'Adivasi Gen Z' protest.
