Rajasthan votes in phase 2 of panchayat polls; EVM glitches delay some booths

Voting began at 7 am in 22 Rajasthan districts for the second phase of zila parishad and panchayat samiti elections, covering 352 and 2,197 wards respectively. Faulty EVMs delayed polling at a few booths, including in Jodhpur, Ajmer and Jhunjhunu. Each voter casts two votes. The remaining phases are scheduled for November 3 and 14.
