CBFC data breach exposes certification files of over 500 titles

A data breach at the Central Board of Film Certification exposed information from applications for more than 500 titles, dozens of them feature films, The Hindu found. The leak appears to have come from the e-Cinepramaan portal, launched nearly a decade ago to digitise the board's work. Exposed material included shooting scripts, cut orders and commercially sensitive distribution agreements.
