Ajay Devgn challenges FDA notice over Vimal Elaichi ads in Bombay HC

Actor Ajay Devgn has moved the Bombay High Court against a Maharashtra FDA show-cause notice over his Vimal Elaichi advertisements, which the agency says are surrogate promotion of banned Vimal Pan Masala. His petition calls the notice arbitrary, saying it should target the manufacturer, not an actor. A bench led by Chief Justice Mahesh Chandra Tripathi may hear it on November 4.
