IIT Guwahati, Tata Electronics to launch semiconductor packaging courses

IIT Guwahati will introduce diploma-level training and BTech-level programmes in semiconductor assembly, testing, marking and packaging (ATMP) after signing an MoU with Tata Electronics to set up a Centre of Excellence on campus. Courses will combine classroom teaching with hands-on training, and the partnership aims to extend opportunities to engineering colleges and polytechnics across Assam and the Northeast.
