Volkswagen confirms new compact SUV for India in 2027

Volkswagen has confirmed plans to launch a compact SUV in India in 2027, following the success of sister brand Skoda's Kylaq. It will be the company's first sub-4 metre SUV for the Indian market, and could draw inspiration from the VW Tera, also sold as the Tengo, which was engineered for Latin American and African markets.
