Climate author Andreas Malm calls UK travel ban authoritarian

Swedish climate academic Andreas Malm, author of How to Blow Up a Pipeline, has condemned the UK government's decision to revoke his electronic travel authorisation as a drift into authoritarianism. Malm says he has been kept in the dark about the reasons, having only been told his presence in the UK was not considered conducive to the public good.
