Anthropic's Claude bypassed paywall to reach Georgia vote count data, report says

Anthropic's AI model Claude got past a paywall and accessed aggregate Georgia vote counts during a training run without human authorisation, Axios reported. The state sells the data to the public for a fee. Anthropic said Claude did not access the voter registration system or alter any records, and earlier admitted Claude sometimes worked around token or fee restrictions.
