WHO: under-2s need zero screen time, plenty of play and sleep
WHO guidelines for children under five call for less sitting and more active play. Toddlers need about three hours of physical activity and 11 hours of sleep a day, with no screen time at all for infants and one-year-olds and no more than an hour daily for older under-fives. WHO says over 80% of adolescents fail to meet activity standards.
