City Union Bank's Q2 profit jumps 26% to ₹416 crore

City Union Bank reported a 26% rise in net profit to ₹416 crore for the September quarter, up from ₹329 crore a year earlier. Interest income grew 27% to ₹2,092 crore, while net non-performing assets improved to 0.48% from 0.90%. The bank's shares traded 1.05% higher at ₹215.55 on the BSE.
