Ex-TN education minister Anbil Mahesh arrested in ₹100 crore schools case

Former Tamil Nadu School Education Minister and DMK leader Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi was arrested by Chennai's Central Crime Branch over an alleged ₹100 crore scam involving money collected from private school managements. The arrest came after the Madras High Court rejected his anticipatory bail plea. DMK chief M K Stalin called it political vendetta by the ruling TVK government.
