Ex-The Boyz member Ju Haknyeon wins defamation case against reporter

Former The Boyz singer Ju Haknyeon has won a defamation suit against a journalist who linked him to prostitution. Seoul Central District Court ordered the reporter to pay 200 million won, about $140,000, ruling the claims were false and not properly verified. The allegations, published over a year ago, had cost him his place in the K-pop group and his agency contract.
