Amazon drops Alexa voice control for AUX input on older Echo speakers

Amazon has disabled voice commands such as 'Alexa, play from line in' on four older Echo speakers: the second-generation Echo Plus, third- and fourth-generation Echo and the original Echo Studio. The company confirmed the change but did not give a reason. Wired audio through the 3.5mm jack still works, and owners can switch AUX input through the Alexa app.
