TVS Motor to scale EV output to 80,000 units a month by March 2027

TVS Motor plans to raise its electric two-wheeler production capacity to 80,000 units a month by March 2027 as demand for e-scooters surges, with EVs now taking over 20% of India's scooter market. The company's EV sales more than doubled in the second quarter, while rivals Bajaj Auto and Ather Energy are also expanding to meet growing demand.
