DoorDash says AI agents have placed only 'several hundred' orders so far

Despite the buzz around AI agents shopping for people, DoorDash said on its third-quarter earnings call that it has received only several hundred orders in total from third-party agents such as Muse, Instinct and Fo. The company averages about 3 million deliveries a day. CEO Tony Xu said users still overwhelmingly order through DoorDash's own app.
