Pigeon with coded ring and Pakistani currency caught in Jammu's Samba

Locals in Jammu's Samba district caught a suspicious pigeon carrying a coded ring, a note written in Urdu and Pakistani currency on Saturday, officials said. The bird was spotted near a temple in the border area of Mawa around 6.40am. Officials noted such cases are not unusual along the J&K and Punjab border, where pigeons have been used for smuggling and messages.
