Centre readies recycling rules for solar module waste

New and Renewable Energy Minister Pralhad Joshi said India is preparing guidelines to recycle solar module waste before large volumes arise in two to three years. Speaking at the Bharat Renewable Energy Summit, he stressed reuse and a domestic circular economy. Recycling spans disassembly, delamination and metal recovery.
