CBSE drops AI and computational thinking modules for current Class 9 batch

CBSE has dropped three curricular components, including computational thinking and AI modules and Individuals in Society, from the Class 9 curriculum for 2026-27, and will exclude Environmental Education from Class 10 for the same batch in 2027-28. The circular said the change aligns with the implementation schedule. It came six days after NCERT released its CT and AI module.
