On Accession Day, Mehbooba Mufti says Kashmir is discussed everywhere but at home

Speaking at a PDP meeting on Accession Day, former chief minister Mehbooba Mufti said Kashmir is discussed everywhere, from the United Nations to elections in other states, except in Jammu and Kashmir itself. She said the region is now addressed only through investigation agencies, anti-terror laws, the Public Safety Act and curfews, and called for open discussion.
