Teen's wearable stethoscope wins $25,000 prize

Kayley Xu, a Year 12 student from San Diego, won the $25,000 grand prize in the Mott Million Dollar Challenge for Aucura, a wearable stethoscope that captures and analyses body sounds to help diagnose breathing problems. Inspired after recovering from pneumonia, she hopes to make it affordable for rural communities and underfunded clinics with limited medical equipment.
