Five held over brutal attack on South African farmer

South African police have arrested five people over an attack on cattle farmer Donovan Marx, 50, during a house robbery at his farm in Ventersdorp, North West province. Police said he was ambushed, shot, stabbed and had his ears cut off. His family welcomed the arrests. The case comes as right-wing groups push a widely discredited 'white genocide' claim.
