Andhra Pradesh releases ₹9.86 crore to upgrade 16 de-addiction centres

Andhra Pradesh has released ₹9.86 crore to modernise 16 drug de-addiction centres in government hospitals, strengthening treatment, counselling and rehabilitation. The funds, released by the Prohibition and Excise Department, will upgrade infrastructure and equipment. Government hospitals in Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam and Kadapa will become specialised Centres of Excellence offering advanced addiction treatment.
