Arsenal to appeal 16-year-old Max Dowman's red card

Arsenal will appeal against Max Dowman's straight red card in Tuesday's Carabao Cup tie at Fleetwood. The 16-year-old was sent off for violent conduct in the 85th minute after reacting to a heavy challenge by Harrison Neal. League Two Fleetwood went on to beat the Premier League champions 5-3 on penalties after a 1-1 draw. It was Dowman's second red card this month.
