US tech stocks rebound after sharp Wall Street sell-off

US technology shares began recovering on Wall Street after their worst day in 19 months, while European and Asia-Pacific markets slid. The Nasdaq remains up about 4.6% year-to-date despite being more than 10% below its peak. A stronger US jobs report also featured in the session’s market narrative.
