IBM and Yotta pitch sovereign AI as control over the stack

IBM and Yotta Data Services say India's AI ambitions hinge on building capability across the whole stack, from data centres and chips to models, skills and digital public infrastructure. Their partnership brings IBM's agentic AI platform, watsonx Orchestrate, onto Yotta's GPU-powered Shakti Cloud, secured through Sovereign Core. Executives argued sovereignty is about who controls the switch, not just where data sits.
