Ford CEO claims new EV tech is 30% more efficient than BYD's

Ford chief executive Jim Farley says the carmaker's new electric motors, inverters and EV gearboxes are 30% more efficient than those of Chinese rival BYD. According to Farley, the new components are designed to maximise efficiency while keeping costs down.
