DMK councillor ready to apologise for body-shaming CM Vijay, HC told

DMK councillor Sudha Deenadalayan is willing to file an affidavit expressing regret for abusing and body-shaming Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay, her counsel told the Madras High Court while seeking anticipatory bail. Justice N. Ramesh said any apology should be public since the speech went viral, and adjourned the hearing to October 29. The FIR was filed on October 19.
