IRDAI extends deadline for feedback on insurance distribution reforms

Insurance regulator IRDAI has extended the deadline for comments on its consultation paper on distribution reforms to October 31 from October 25. The two-part paper, 'Recalibrating Economics of Insurance Distribution', was released on September 23 and has drawn more than 650 comments so far. The regulator said the extension is meant to allow wider participation.
