Rahul Gandhi safe after vehicles in his convoy collide on Purvanchal Expressway

At least four vehicles and an ambulance in Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi's convoy collided near the 91 km milestone of the Purvanchal Expressway in Sultanpur district on Monday. Some Congress members and several security personnel were reportedly injured, but Gandhi, whose car was ahead, is safe. He was travelling to a Sultanpur MP-MLA court due to deliver its verdict in a 2018 defamation case.
